NEW YORK, 20 June 2006 - Clark Gayton blew tuba beats and melodies at Nublu. With bluesman Bill Sims Jr. on guitar and New York jazz drummer Daniel Freedman, Clark and his trio played blues and pop standards with the force of a stack of Marshall amps. Tuba melodies? It's a real delight to recognize an old song just when you notice how hard the band is jamming.
