NEW YORK, 15 Sept 2006 - Every fashion week, one or two models stick in your head when you run into them over and over at the shows and get a little glimpse into their personality. One of the models who stood out this season was Miranda Kerr. ModaFoto met Miranda at Cia Maritima, noticed her innocent look at Twinkle, then ran into Miranda again at Jason Wu and ThreeAsFour (above).
Backstage in the tents at Jason Wu as she grabbed a quick bite before makeup, I asked Miranda where she was from. Miranda pointed to her feet and made a little scooping motion with her hand. I had no idea what she meant. After finishing her bite, Miranda sweetly explained that she is from down under. We've always heard that Australia is a beautiful country. When Miranda looks in your eyes, you can see why.
About Spring Summer 2007 Fashion Week in New York, Miranda told Bia Mattos, 'I really enjoyed the Cia Maritima show. It was a lot of fun and Betsey Johnson is always fun as well. But by the end I'll have done sixteen shows so it's a lot of hair and makeup on and off.
